SUVA, Fiji – YOUNG Christians will gather at Navuso Methodist Church on Sunday to pray for reunification between North and South Korea.
Organised by the Young Ecumenists of the Pacific’s Fiji chapter, the gathering is expected to be attended by more than 200 people.
The ecumenical service is open to the pubic and will be held from4-6pm.
It was organised on behalf of the National Council of Churches in Korea.
Meanwhile, the Reconciliation and Unification Committee of the National Council of Churches in Korea (NCCK) spent last month working on completing a campaign for a peace treaty on the Korean peninsula.
This concluded a year-long push collecting signatures from around the world for which they collected about 13,000 signatures calling for immediate negotiations to work on a peace treaty.
