PAPUA New Guinea’s Prime Minister, James Marape, heads for Switzerland with a list of projects he hopes will draw international investors.
Energy and resources will be on offer at the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos-Klosters.
Last year, met executives from ExxonMobil, Total Energies, and other global investors to suggest key projects, including Papua LNG (gas).
“The WEF is a global hub of frontier-thinkers and innovators that can influence public policy,” Marape told Papua New Guinea media.
He said PNG would focus on reforming its national investment framework.
Marape said PNG continued to seek the establishment of special economic zones and encouraged partnerships that would create a local manufacturing and processing powerhouse export finished goods into the region.
