Fiji Bitter kicks off 2025–2026 7s series

THE Fiji Bitter 2025–2026 sevens series season was officially launched this week at Paradise Beverages, Walu Bay.

Paradise Beverages Head of Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability, Dwain Qalovaki described the tournament as more than a competition.

“It serves as a vital development pathway for young men and women from across Fiji, giving them opportunities to be recognised by coaches and scouts,” Qalovaki said.

“What started as a small idea has now become a nationwide celebration of talent, community, and pride,” he added.

The launch marks 49 years of partnership and support for Fijian rugby from Fiji Bitter which is owned by Paradise Beverages.

Maxine Edwards, Fiji Bitter Brand Manager, said the 7s Series reflected  Fijian culture, pride and values.

This season will feature six tournaments, starting with Lomaiviti in November, Wairiki in December, Labasa in January, and then Savusavu in February, Nawaka and the Marist 7s in Suva in March.
