The risks of cyber-attacks on the Government network will remain.
Hacking the system is “bread and butter” for hackers around the world. But hopefully, a new system is in place to build security mechanisms to detect such issues faster, so the experts can react swiftly to the threats posed, said Prime Minister Ishmael Kalsakau.
He made the observation in response while responding to a question on a plan to stop or minimise the re-occurrence of similar cyber attacks in the future.
He acknowledged the local experts for working tirelessly to recover and restore critical government services.
Last month, the entire government network experienced a cyber attack that affect all government services. PM Kalsakau recently announced that 70 percent of services are up and running.
