Biden cancellation disappoints
The cancellation of US President Joe Biden’s visit to Papua New Guinea this month was a disappointment for PNG, which has spent months planning the visit. “We are disappointed that this historic visit has been cancelled as we have prepared well, spent a lot of time, effort and energy towards the visit and we were all looking forward to the visit,” said National Capital District Governor, Powes Parkop. Those preparations reportedly included the transport of 20 vehicles into the country, including four armoured vehicles, and more than 1000 security personnel . . .
