THE twin-hulled canoe Uto Ni Yalo is on its third night at sea on a voyage to Honiara, Solomon Islands, from Fiji with a multinational Pacific crew.
Latest reports from aboard the canoe are that the crew and vessel are safe and the Uto is travelling at around 4.5knots. On the current course the vessel should lie to the west of Rotuma by Monday night.
The Uto Ni Yalo is on an advocacy voyage with a message based on keeping the sea healthy through responsible stewardship, including sustainable sea transport.
