SUVA were out for redemption in the final match of the 2025 OFC Futsal Men’s Champions League.
From the first whistle the hosts went on a rampage and a nice set up by Ramzan Khan gave Nikil Chand enough space to blast one home for Suva.
A good show of quick passing saw Rajneel Singh double Suva’s lead with a fantastic goal.
Then Suva played a nice set piece from a corner kick, Ramzan Khan nudged the ball into the box for Merrill Nand to finish with a goal.
Ashley Eric and Morris Frida combined well for Gulf Komara but just couldn’t score and Suva FC goalkeeper Kitione Baleloa was a towering figure between the posts.
Finally, a brace by Ezekiel Vela saw Gulf Komara get back into the game. It was a deserved reward for their relentless efforts in attack.
Suva led 3 – 2 at halftime.
After the break, Suva piled on the pressure and Rajneel Singh struck to extend the lead.
In the last three minutes, Nikil Chand tipped in his second goal and secured the win for Suva.
Gulf Komara battled hard as they hunted down Suva’s lead. Iamo Manu led the charge but just could not capitalize on the opportunities.
Suva won 5 – 2.
