Solomon Airlines celebrates first commercial flights from Honiara to Santo and Auckland to Santo via Port Vila

Solomon Airlines has successfully launched its first commercial flight from Honiara to Santo in Vanuatu on Monday 16 September 2024, marking a significant milestone in expanding its regional connectivity. 

The airline continued this momentum with the inaugural flight from Auckland to Santo, via Port Vila, on Tuesday 17 September 2024.

These new routes are part of Solomon Airlines’ strategy to enhance travel options between key Pacific destinations, fostering closer ties for business, tourism, and pacific travel exchange. 

The Honiara to Santo route offers passengers a direct link to Vanuatu’s largest island, known for its rich history, stunning natural beauty, and diverse cultural experiences.
