FORMER Fiji Television Limited CEO, Geoffrey Smith, has joined Natural Waters of Viti Limited as Director Public Relations.
Smith worked for public relations firm George Rubine Ltd after quitting Fiji TV due to mounting board pressure to sell critical commercial assets.
He is expected to lead Fiji Water’s public relations team and will draw from more than 20 years of industry experience.
Smith joined the Fiji Times as a cadet before moving to Fiji TV where he rose through the ranks to become CEO.
He is a regionally acclaimed documentary producer and is passionate about the environment.
The Director Public Relations position is a new post created within the Fiji Water structure.
Fiji Water is an internationally renowned brand with a factory in Yaqara on the northwest coast of Viti Levu.
