THE Uto Ni Yalo sailed for Honiara this evening with a multinational crew bound for the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum.
Sailors will carry messages of solidarity with the ocean along with a call for greater care of and responsibility for creation.
The Uto crew will also carry out advocacy work at the forum.
The Suva-Honiara leg may take five days, depending on the weather.
Sail master Angelo Smith and celestial navigator Kaiafa Ledua lead the voyage along with a seasoned crew which includes five women.
