FIJI has rolled out voter services at its foreign missions ahead of polls due in 2026.
The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Suva yesterday to strengthen collaboration to support overseas voter registration and electoral awareness efforts.
The updated MoU provides a clear framework that enables Fiji’s Diplomatic Missions to deliver key voter services on behalf of the FEO. This includes facilitating voter registration, disseminating election information, and supporting FEO staff posted internationally.
With over 200,000 Fijians living abroad, this partnership is a critical step in ensuring they are not left behind in the democratic process, particularly as Fiji prepares for the next General Election.
