SAMOA has launched a One-Government Portal to help citizens, businesses, and government employees access essential information, services, and official documents easily.
The service is intended to simplify the process of navigating multiple departmental websites and enhances public service delivery through a single, integrated platform.
Communications Minister Agaseata Tanuvasa Valelio Peto launched the platform which represents a major step towards building a more efficient, transparent, and accessible public service system.
The system incudes:
• A central directory for all government information and services.
• Support for government employees, offering access to training materials, digital libraries, induction programs, and online learning modules covering topics such as cybersecurity and professional development.
• 24/7 availability, enabling users to access resources and services anytime and anywhere, without the need to visit multiple offices.
A Samona government statement said the next phase of development would focus on integrating online services, allowing users to submit and receive applications, access documents, and obtain service information from government agencies.
This will strengthen inter-departmental collaboration, ensure secure processing, and enable online verification of applications.
The portal was designed to promote evidence-based governance by improving data accessibility, enhancing transparency, and facilitating more informed decision-making.
Investors and visitors can access the service at www.mygov.gov.ws.
