FIJI’s economic transformation and future trade opportunities will take centre stage at this year’s 29th Australia-Fiji Business Forum, says Council President Zane Yoshida.
“For nearly four decades, the Australia-Fiji Business Forum has been the premier platform for strengthening trade and investment between our two nations,” Yoshida said ahead of the event. “This year’s Forum will highlight Fiji’s revitalised and diversified economy, while building on the deep business relationship that spans more than three centuries.”
He urged businesses from both countries to seize the opportunity to engage directly with senior policymakers, government leaders, and industry experts.
“For Australian and Fijian businesses alike, the Forum offers a unique platform to explore real opportunities across infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, renewable energy, and business process outsourcing,” Yoshida said.
“I encourage all businesses with an interest in Fiji and the Pacific to join us, as together we chart the course for the next phase of our partnership and growth.”
The forum will be held from 22–24 October 2025 at the Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel on the Gold Coast.
Key speakers will include Fiji’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade Manoa Kamikamica, Finance Minister Biman Prasad, and Westpac economist Justin Smirk.
Delegates will also hear from representatives of Investment Fiji, the Asian Development Bank, KPMG, Outsource Fiji, Google Fiji, and several Australian trade and infrastructure agencies.
Registration is now open for one of the region’s most significant business events.
