Vanua Ranch has revealed plans to open Fiji’s first boutique villa resort, blending farm-based experiences with high-end luxury, by 2026.

Located in Uciwai, Vanua Ranch will feature 17 exclusive boutique villas strategically positioned to offer panoramic 180-degree views stretching from Momi to Denarau Island.

“Vanua Ranch represents a new category of agritourism in Fiji”, Director Steve Howard stated.

“Our vision is to not only provide luxurious accommodations but to enrich the cultural experience for visitors.”

The project has been in the works for over 15 years, and aims to significantly integrate local communities into its operations.

“We are committed to employing local villagers for most services,” Howard affirmed.

“Furthermore, we’re dedicated to giving back through grants, educational opportunities, and support for local trades.”

He says sustainability is central to Vanua Ranch’s ethos.

Beyond its luxurious offerings, the resort plans to integrate immersive farm-to-table dining experiences and cultural engagements that showcase traditional Fijian farming practices.

“We plan to open in 2026, pending final approvals,” he shared.

“Despite setbacks from the pandemic, we remain focused on creating a development that showcases the best of Fiji.”
