THE OPENING OF OUR HEADQUARTERS

SPBD’S Fiji headquarters at Bidesi Building in Waimanu Road was officially opened on 7 December
2010 by the late Dr Jiko Luveni, who was the then Minister for Social Welfare, Women and Poverty
Alleviation. This was after a humble beginning operating from Room 309 at Suva Motor Inn from
1-31 October, 2010. The headquarters also houses SPBD’s Suva branch operations which supports
186 centres with 2,956 members.
