The SPBD Fiji Individual Saver of the Year and finalists are recognised for their
consistent saving habits and their ability to build up funds for the future.

Congratulations to SPBD Fiji Individual Saver of
the Year 2023, Senimili Draunileva (Tau Centre,
Sigatoka)!

Senimili joined SPBD 12 years ago and she runs a
number of businesses: a canteen from her home, and
fish and kava sales.
She is always thinking ahead, ensuring she has enough
stock on hand in the case of bad weather. Senimili
is committed to good record-keeping through her
financial diary, and continuing to build her savings.

She wants to expand her business in future and has
been able to use her income to extend her home and
pay for her children’s educational needs.
Senimili has undergone SME training and say this, and
her membership of SPBD has built her confidence as a
businesswoman and member of the community.
