A PETITION has been served against Fiji’s Prime Minister, Rear-Admiral Frank Bainimarama, in a legal move contesting the outcome of the November General Election.
The petition was published in The Fiji Times today after Fiji First MPs avoided service on Tuesday by locking themselves into a government office.
But on Thursday the court ordered an alternative form of service of the petition, including publishing the document in a newspaper.
Bainimarama, Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiym, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem, former Trade Minister Faiyaz Koya and all Fiji First Members of Parliament were named in the document.
