Court grants bail for Rabuka.

Former Prime Minister now leader of the opposition’s SODELPA Party Sitiveni Rabuka has been bailed  by the Suva Magistrates Courts.
He was taken in for questioning and later charged by FICAC, the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption in Suva today.
He faces one count of providing False Declaration of Assets, Income and Liabilities, contrary to Section 24 (1A) and 24 (5) of the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct,Funding and Disclosures) Act No. 4 of 2013. 
No plea was taken and Mr Rabuka was released on $300 bail with two sureties bond of similar sum.
Rabuka was ordered to report to the Nabua Police Stations on the first Saturday of every month, anyt, ime between 6am to 6pm.
He appeared before Magistrate Joji Boseiwaqa. 
The case is adjourned to  6June.
The new law was introduced by the Fiji Government prior to the 2014 general elections and section 24 covers disclosure requirements of political party executives.
