ABM Galaxy has claimed top spot in Group B, defeating Lae City Dwellers 3-1 in the OFC Men’s Championship.
Charles Hayes scored with a spectacular header to put Lae City in front. But late in the first half, Galaxy striker Willian Dos Santos Medina lobbed over veteran goalkeeper, Ronald Warisan to level the scores.
Lae City were caught by surprise in the second half when Medina used his speed and fired in two brilliant goals to claim the lead for Galaxy.
But the Brazilian took several hard knocks and Galaxy will hope to have him fit for the next round.
ABM Galaxy have booked their place in the semi-final.
In the next round, Galaxy will play against Tupapa Maraerenga while Lae City and Rewa FC will battle for second place on Saturday.
