Operator of Fiji’s airports, Fiji Airports today announced a restructure in the senior management of the company with the scrapping of the executive chairman position.
Incumbent Faiz Khan is now acting CEO of Fiji Airports, while fellow board member, hotelier Geoffrey Shaw has been appointed chairperson.
The company also confirms that the CEO position is being advertised, and Khan is among those that are interested in the top job.
Fiji Airports did not say however whether Khan is also giving up his other role as chair of Tropik Woods.
The appointments were made by the Attorney General and Minister of Economy, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
