SPBD CENTRE SAVER OF THE YEAR 2021

group funds for the members.
SPBD’s Matanakilagi Centre has 27 members, divided into
four groups, and is one of the longest running centres since
the institution started in 2010.
Members are often encouraged to increase their Centre funds
as well as individual savings through weekly fundraisers and
soli at the end of the month.
Centre Chief, Marica Sute, says: “Our Centre fund is there to
help members in difficult times such as loan repayments, and
it is also used to celebrate the establishment of the Centre.”
For the year-end holidays, “We save whatever (money) we can
and it is given to the members at the end of the year when we
