The South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX) is pleased to announce that the SPX Annual Awards 2026 will be held on Saturday, 14 November 2026, at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
The event will build on the successful return of the SPX Annual Awards in 2025 and will provide an expanded platform for recognising outstanding achievement in financial reporting, corporate transparency, investor engagement and capital market participation.
The number of awards is set to increase this year, reflecting the continued development of the programme and SPX’s objective of recognising excellence across a broader range of organisations and sectors. The Awards will be presented under two principal streams: the Financial Reporting Excellence Awards and the Capital Market Excellence Awards.
Participation will be open to SPX-listed companies as well as unlisted organisations, including private sector companies, state-owned enterprises, statutory bodies and other institutions. Details of the categories, eligibility requirements and criteria will be released when entries open.
SPX CEO Sheraj Obeyesekere said the Awards provide an important national platform for recognising companies and individuals that go beyond minimum requirements and demonstrate excellence in reporting, governance and market participation. He added that such leadership is essential to strengthening investor confidence, raising market standards and supporting sustainable economic development.
The 2025 event brought together leaders from government, Fiji’s business community, the capital markets and the wider private sector. Close competition across the award categories demonstrated the growing commitment of organisations to transparent, meaningful and high-quality corporate reporting.
Among the major winners in 2025, Pleass Global Limited received the Annual Report of the Year Award for listed companies, while Fiji Ports Corporation Limited received the corresponding award for unlisted organisations.
