FIJI’S Parliament has paid tribute to Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry Inosi Kuridrani, following his death in Suva.
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka announced Kuridrani’s death in Parliament, saying he had passed away at his home.
Rabuka conveyed the Government’s condolences to Kuridrani’s family, the vanua of Nakuruvakarua and Members of Parliament.
Speaker Filimone Jitoko also expressed his condolences before inviting the House to observe a minute of silence in Kuridrani’s honour.
Kuridrani served as Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry and was a Member of Fiji’s Parliament.
Parliament continued its September sitting following the tribute.
