CENTRE CHIEFS AND CENTRE SECRETARIES

TRAINING 2025

Every year, centre officials undertake training related to the roles they are elected to by the members. This training includes both new centre
officials and those continuing in their respective roles. The scope of their training covers their roles, functions, loan products offered, SPBD
guidelines, policies, procedures, and systems. All branches host their Centre Chiefs and Centre Secretaries for their training.
Training Offer: Mr Semiti Waqa conducted training for Centre Chiefs and Centre Secretaries in Suva on 17–20 February and 24–27 February. He
also conducted training in Lautoka on 17–20 March.
Operations Manager, Mr Jainendra Raj, conducted training in Levuka (18–19 February), Nabouwalu (14–15 April), and Labasa (21–22 May).
Team Leaders in Rakiraki (3–6 March) and Nausori Branches (10–13 March) conducted their own training. Sigatoka’s Branch Manager, Mr Watisoni
Raikadroka, conducted training for his branch on 24 March 2025. Savusavu’s Branch Manager, Ms Teaoia Makin, provided training for her branch
on 28–29 May. Training for the Taveuni Branch for centre officials is yet to take place.
