“No pressure, just excitement”, Lomani fired up for Drua’s clash against Chiefs

Drua fans are in for an exciting day as the men’s and women’s team gear up for a double-header at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

“We had a good week this week.  No pressure on us because we’ve put in the work,” Drua co-captain Frank Lomani said after leading the Captain’s Run yesterday.

With the Drua coming off three narrow losses, Lomani knows what the team needs to do.

“We just need to keep the ball and improve our discipline, especially in the last 20 minutes.”

Returning from injury after missing last week’s match with Waratahs in Sydney, Lomani believes the squad is close to turning things around.

“We’ve been working hard on our skill sets. The young boys are stepping up, and that’s exciting for the group,” he said.

The Drua women’s side will take on the Reds in a crucial Super Rugby Pacific clash, kicking off at 1:05pm,, while the men’s team will take on Chief at 3:45pm.
