Nadi-Nouméa flights to return in September

FIJI Airways has announced the resumption of direct flights between Nadi and Nadi Nouméa Back Online: Fiji Airways bringing back online a key regional link starting September 22.

The twice-weekly service will operate every Tuesday and Friday using Fiji Link’s ATR 72-600 aircraft, adding more than 10,000 seats annually between Fiji and New Caledonia.

The route would boost tourism, trade, and regional connections Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO Paul Scurrah said .

“New Caledonia is a stunning destination and an important market for Fiji Airways. Reinstating this service creates exciting new opportunities for travelers.”

The route will also enable frequent travel between Nouméa and Suva, home to major Pacific intergovernmental and development organisations.

The flights will help meet the connectivity needs of staff, delegates, and partners who travel regularly between Nadi and Nouméa, the airline said.

Passengers from Nouméa will also be able to connect onto Fiji Airways’ wider international network, including flights to New Zealand, the United States, and Canada.
