SODELPA seeks relief for agents

By Netani Rika

THE Opposition SODELPA Party has sought reinforcements for 60 polling agents who have been at work for over 24 hours.

In an email and Facebook alert early today, SODELPA said a further 60 agents would be needed at noon.

“Grateful if those rostered for 12am would come in early,”  the alert said.

“Those expected at midnight did not arrive and the current shift is fatigued.”

Vote counting has dragged through the night and is expected to continue beyond noon.

Fiji First maintains a lead over SODELPA and the National Federation Party.
